Privacy Notice

What we collect
We collect only what you send us through a form on this site. There are two forms.
- Contact form. Name, email address, organization, inquiry type, and message.
- Careers register of interest. Name, email address, discipline, location and work preference, links you supply, your written answer, availability, and a resume file if you choose to attach one.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. We do not fingerprint visitors and we do not build a profile of you from your browsing.
How we use it
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, and delivered to Martel Defense by email. We use contact submissions to respond to your inquiry and for routine business records. We use careers submissions to evaluate whether there is a fit at Martel Defense, now or when funded work begins. Netlify's handling of form data is described in the Netlify privacy policy.
Recruitment data
If you register interest through the careers page, we keep what you send so we can come back to you when a role opens. We do not share it with recruiters, job boards, or any third party. We do not use it to make an automated decision about you, because a person reads every submission.
Do not send us anything export-controlled, classified, or proprietary to a current or former employer. If you do, we will delete it and tell you that we have.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We do not send marketing email. You will hear from us only in response to what you sent.
Retention and deletion
We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records. We keep careers submissions for up to two years, then delete them unless you have asked us to keep them on file longer.
To request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion, email caleb.ross@marteldefense.com. We will handle it within 30 days.
Where your data is held
Submissions are held by Netlify in the United States and in the email account of Martel Defense LLC. Martel Defense is a United States company and does not transfer your data outside the United States.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. We will not apply a material change retroactively to information you have already sent us without telling you.
